Dr Harish Bhalla organises poetry night with Kapil Sibal in Delhi

Many of the current government’s flagship themes (also schemes) were repeated in law minister Kapil Sibal’s poetry when he recited some of his work at this lively do recently. He even took a long poetic dig at the Aam Aadmi Party! Hosted by Dr Harish Bhalla and curated by Bhavna Sethi, the evening also saw composer Lalit Pandit on the dais – he’s set many of Sibal’s poems to music, and some of these songs were played here.
There were even songs composed by Adnan Sami and Pritam. Poland’s ambassador to India, Piotr Klodkowski, who’s fluent in Hindi and Sanskrit, recited some of his work in Hindi here too.
